Hotel Slaviani in Dimitrovgrad was a true Balkan gem! The location was fantastic, close to the main street and the bustling Sunday bazaar. The staff, though basic in English, exuded warmth and hospitality. The rooms, with their wooden floors and marble accents, offered a touch of luxury from the 90s. I especially loved the spaciousness and the option of a balcony in half of them. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals at reasonable prices, perfect for fueling up before a day of business in town. One highlight was the accommodating staff who allowed me to securely store my bicycle near the reception. The en-suite bathroom, with its bathtub and free toiletries, was a welcome retreat after a day of exploring the nearby Thracian tomb of Aleksandrovo. Hotel Slaviani is a great choice for those seeking comfort and convenience in Dimitrovgrad!
